At this seminar you will learn basic and most important sabre skills. This includes correct posture, attacking, footwork and guards. The seminar has a large focus on mastering these crucial elements and each individual will recieve attention. We will look at body mechanics and how to fence safely and keep an overview.

Talhoffer rondel dagger workshop
10th of Nov. 2012 10.00-14.00
KHFK will host a dagger workshop where we look at Talhoffers dagger techniques, and how they can be used unarmed vs. an armed assailant.
We will test the techniques will full intent, so bring your gear, especially arm protection, chest and face protection is crucial. We have 2 gambesons and 2 fencingmasks for those in need.
Also you should bring a rondel dagger simulator, it can be made easily with wood and gaffatape or simply a kitchen knife honer, even a large screwdriver can do as long as the point is covered. If you have a real unsharpened dagger, bring it as well.
This workshop is free for clubmembers and will take place at Nationalmuseet. Fee for attendance for non members is 250 DKR.
Longswordseminar

Københavns Historiske Fægteklub is hosting a seminar in Liechtenauers Longsword system.
The system dates back to about 14th century and has been extensively documented in writing and images.
At the seminar we will look at sword anatomy, theory, basic guards, footwork and attacks.
We have swords for maximum 10 people.
The seminar is for everyone above 18 years of age, martial arts experience is not required but it is an advantage.

Groundfighting seminar

Copenhagen Historical Fencing Club has in cooperation with Thomas La Cour arranged a groundfighting seminar at Fightcraft Gym.
The seminar is about escapes. We vil go into details how to escape from the worst positions on the ground, focusing on getting up on your feet again. It is the same techniques used by Fightcrafts pro fighters in the cage.
Thomas La Cour is a previous pro MMA fighter and now instructs at Fightcraft.
